ORDER

Read this order in continuation of and in conjunction with order dated 13.06.2024 that reads as follows:- "Counter is filed in the matter.

2. Since the prayer pertains to admission in academic year 2023 - 2024, the petitioner will establish that the candidate has sought admission for the present academic year also, failing which, this writ petition is infructuous.

3. Learned counsel for the respondents will also confirm how many seats are provided for admission under RTE and whether there were any vacancies in the second standard.

4. List on 01.07.2024."

Today, Mr.N.Vaidyanathan, circulates a letter dated 27.06.2024 from Kendriya Vidyalaya confirming that the petitioner has not applied for admission to second standard in 2024 - 2025 academic year.

Hence there is nothing that survives in this writ petition, as the prayer is only for a mandamus directing the respondent to provide admission for academic year 2023 - 2024, and the same is dismissed. No costs. Connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. 01.07.2024 Index:Yes/No ssm 2/4
