ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking direction to the 2nd respondent herein not to harass the petitioner under the guise of investigation.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent-Police and perused the materials available on record.

3. Learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent Police submitted that though the petitioner was summoned for enquiry, he has not co-operated with the respondent Police for enquiry.

4. It is the duty of the person who receives a summon or against whom a complaint has been lodged has to co-operate with the Police during investigation/enquiry. The petitioner is hereby directed to extend his cooperation to the respondent-Police for interrogation/investigation/enquiry as the case may be.

5. With the abovesaid direction, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
