PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a writ of Certiorari to call for the records pertaining to the impugned order passed in Proceedings bearing Proc.No.E1/VC1/7845789/2024, Dated 16.05.2025 and quash the same and consequently, direct the respondents to reinstate the petitioner into service with all attendant service benefits.

ORDER
The present writ petition has been filed to call for the records pertaining to the impugned order passed in Proceedings bearing Proc.No.E1/VC1/7845789/2024, Dated 16.05.2025 and quash the same and consequently, direct the respondents to reinstate the petitioner into service with all attendant service benefits.
2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner in an ambiguous manner, suspended from service from 16th May 2025. Hence, he prayed to interfere with the suspension. 2/5

Per contra, the leaned Special Government Pleader would vehemently contend that there is a serious charge framed against the petitioner for the misappropriation to the tune of Rs.4 crores and that they contemplated criminal and disciplinary action against the petitioner. Apart from that, he has been suspended from service recently on 16.05.2025. Accordingly, there is no public interest involved to interfere with the suspension.
4. In view of the above submission made by the learned Special Government Pleader, I do not find any merits in the writ petition. Further it would not auger well to revoke the suspension with in a month against a person who is facing serious charge. Accordingly, the writ petition is liable to be dismissed.
5. In the result, the writ petition is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions also stands closed. 19.06.2025 ssi Index : Yes Speaking Order : Yes /No 3/5
