Pleader COMMON ORDER The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petitions to issue Writs of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records of the 2nd respondent in Award No.11/2014-15, dated 02.02.2015 and 04.07.2018 respectively, to quash the same and consequently directing the 2nd respondent to pass fresh award in accordance with the provisions of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013.

2. When the Writ Petitions are taken up for hearing, Mr. P. Sesubalan Raja, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is restricting his prayer only to direct the 3rd respondent to dispose of appeal filed by him on 10.10.2018, within a time frame.

3. Mr. D. Raja, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the 3rd respondent may be directed to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner, within a period of six weeks.

4. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for by the learned counsel for the petitioner, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the 3rd respondent to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner on 10.10.2018 and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after giving due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With these observations, the Writ Petitions are disposed of. No costs.
