ORDER

The present Writ Petition has been filed for the issue of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to permit the petitioner to participate in the counselling process for admission to UG Courses (M.B.B.S.,).

2.This Writ Petition was filed on an apprehension that even though the petitioner is a native of Tamil Nadu and an appropriate certificate has also been given by the 4th respondent, the petitioner was given to understand that she will not be considered as a native of Tamil Nadu. 3.Mr.Abdul Saleem, learned standing counsel appearing on behalf of the 3rd respondent, on instructions submitted that the apprehension of the petitioner is uncalled for and that the petitioner will be permitted to participate in the counselling.

4.In view of the specific stand taken by the 3rd respondent, the apprehension raised by the petitioner no longer survives and the petitioner can attend the counselling conducted by the 3rd respondent.

5.This Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. No costs.
