ORDER
[Order of the Court was made by P.N.PRAKASH, J.] Seeking a direction to the second respondent to produce Yuvaraj, aged about 19 years, son of Latha, the petitioner herein, before this Court and to set him at liberty, the present habeas corpus petition has been filed.
2.It is the case of the petitioner that her only son Yuvaraj, aged about 19 years went missing since 20.11.2020 and that the police have not taken any effective steps to secure him.

3.Today, Mr.S.Rajendran, R7 K.K.Nagar Police Station is present.
4.On instructions, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the police have registered a regular case in Crime No.994 of 2020 and are trying to trace the petitioner's son.
5.This Court directs the Assistant Commissioner of Police, Ashok Nagar, Chennai to monitor the investigation in K.K.Nagar Police Station Crime No.994 of 2020 and take effective steps to secure the missing person. As and when the missing person is traced, he shall be produced before the jurisdictional Magistrate under intimation to the petitioner. 6.With the above direction, the habeas corpus petition stands closed.
