ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for a direction directing the third respondent to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner seeking disbursal of Special Grade Pay and Provident Fund of her deceased mother along with other pending retirement benefits.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 and perused the materials available on record.

3. The petitioner's mother had worked as Scavenger in the fourth respondent School and retired from service on 31.03.2014. After retirement, she was not settled with any retirement benefits. Therefore, she filed a writ petition before this Court in W.P.No.5708 of 2016 for direction directing the respondents to disburse her retirement benefits. This Court, by an order dated 25.02.2016, directed the respondents to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner within a period of four weeks. In the meanwhile, the petitioner's mother died on 13.03.2016. Thereafter, the petitioner submitted a detailed representation seeking all terminal benefits of her deceased mother. Even then the representation submitted by the petitioner is not yet considered.

In view of the above, the fourth respondent is directed to send a proposal claiming all terminal benefits of the petitioner's deceased mother, who had worked as Scavenger and retired from service on 31.03.2014, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, if not already sent. On receipt of the same, the respondents 2 and 3 are directed to consider the said proposal and disburse all retirement benefits including Special Grade Pay and Provident Fund to the petitioner's deceased mother within a period of four weeks thereafter.

5. With the above direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
