This petition has been filed to condone the delay of 140 days in representing the above criminal appeal as against the order dated 18.11.2024 made in C.C.No.4495 of 2016 on the file of the Fast Track Court No.2, Metropolitan Magistrate Court, Egmore, Allikulam at Chennai, wherein, the accused was acquitted under Section 255(1) of Cr.P.C., pursuant to a complaint filed under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and perused the materials available on record.

3. Being satisfied with the reasons stated in the affidavit filed in support of this petition, the delay of 140 days is condoned and the petition is ordered.
