When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Standing Counsel appearing on behalf of the impleaded 14th respondent produced the written instructions from the National Medical Commission. On going through the same, it is seen that under Section 30(3) and 30(4) of the NMC Act, 2019, only a registered medical practitioner is permitted to file an appeal and this right is not available to the aggrieved person/patient.
