This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the second respondent to investigate the case in Crime No.462 of 2022 and to file a final 1/4

report within a stipulated time frame.

2. Heard learned counsel appearing for petitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of respondents.

3. Learned counsel appearing for petitioner would submit that though the second respondent has registered a case in the above said crime number on 17.11.2022, no final report is filed till date.

4. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents would submit that the respondents may be permitted to file final report within a period of three months.

5. In view of the above, the second respondent is directed to either file a final report or closure report, as the case may be, within a period of three (3) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order under due intimation to the de facto complainant.
