ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble Chief Justice) We have heard Mr.M.Vinoth, learned counsel for the petitioner.

2. The petition is filed for the limited purpose of seeking a direction for disposal of Sarfaesi Application No.77 of 2014 pending before the Debts Recovery Tribunal, Coimbatore, expeditiously.

3. We are not aware of the pendency of matters before the DRT, Coimbatore and also the reasons for the delay caused in disposal of the same. However, nine years is too long a period for the matter to be pending. In view of that, the DRT, Coimbatore may consider the request of the petitioner for expeditious disposal of the proceedings. With these observations, the writ petition is disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.
