ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by P.N.PRAKASH, J.] Seeking a direction to the second respondent to produce the body and person of the detenue by name Sathya, who is aged about 19 years and who has been detained at the third respondent Home, before this Court and to set her at liberty, the present habeas corpus petition has been filed.

2.It is the case of the petitioner that he got married to Sathya on 24.11.2020 and that she is being illegally detained by her parents.

3.Today, Mr.E.Vigneshwaramoorthy, Sub Inspector of Police, Mettur Police Station, Salem District is present. 4.The detenue - Sathya was produced before this Court. When this Court enquired Sathya, she stated that her date of birth is 09.07.2002 and that she is 19 years old. On further enquiry, she has stated that she is living with her parents on her own volition and that she is not in the illegal custody of anyone. 5.Recording the same, this habeas corpus petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner to work out the remedy in the manner known to law.
