This petition has been filed to quash the F.I.R. in Crime No.114 of 2022 registered by the first respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 294(b) and 324 of IPC and Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act, 2002 as against the petitioners.
2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent police would submit that it is a case and case in counter. He would further submit that already investigation has been completed and filed a final report on 27.06.2022 before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Additional Mahila Court, Salem. Therefore, the prayer sought for, in this petition has become infructuous.
3. Recording the said submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 13.09.2022 Vv To 2/4
