ORDER
This petition has been filed for a direction to the first respondent to act upon the representation made by the petitioner on 29.03.2019 in accordance with law.
2. The case of the petitioner is that there was a money dispute between the petitioner and the 4th respondent. The 4th respondent seems to have lodged a complaint before the respondent police. The police had called the petitioner for an enquiry. It is the grievance of the petitioner that the respondent police forced the petitioner to hand over his vehicle https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
to the 4th respondent. This step was resorted to even without registering an FIR on the complaint given by the 4th respondent.
3. Therefore, a representation was given by the petitioner to the Superintendent of Police, Coimbatore. Since this was not acted upon, the present petition has been filed seeking for appropriate directions.
4. Heard, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the respondent police.
5. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case, there shall be a direction to the first respondent to conduct an enquiry on the representation dated 29.03.2019, made by the petitioner and he shall act in accordance with law and the enquiry shall be completed within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
6. This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above directions.
