ORDER

The present writ petition is filed seeking a direction against the first respondent to dispose of the application submitted by the petitioner dated 15.04.2024, seeking re-issuance of passport, in file No.MA1076450354724 by considering the representation of the petitioner dated 06.06.2024.

2. Without expressing any views on merits of the writ petition, the first respondent is directed to dispose the application submitted by the petitioner dated 15.04.2024, seeking re-issuance of passport, on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

3. The writ petition, as such, stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
