ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences punishable under Section 399 of I.P.C, in Crime.No.1128 of 2020, on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner/A3 along with other accused waylaid the persons who are passing through Kumaramangalam Main road and assaulted them with iron rod and robbed cash and other valuable articles. Hence, the complaint.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent person and is no way connected with the alleged offence. Hence he prays to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that the petitioner is a habitual offender and the co-accused/A5 is detained under Goondas Act. Hence he vehemently opposed to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

5. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the co-accused/A5 is detained under Goondas Act, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
