The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 30.06.2022 for the offences punishable under Sections 294(b), 323, 427 & 307 of IPC in Crime No.226 of 2022 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.
2. The case of the prosecution is that, during temple festival, there was a wordy quarrel between the petitioner and the village festival committee, wherein the petitioner had abused and attempted to ran over the de-facto complainant by using the car in order to murder her. Hence, the complaint.
3. The petitioner is an history sheeter and there is a proposal pending against him for detaining him under the Goondas Act.
