This Criminal Miscellaneous Petition has been filed to modify the condition in para No.7(b) of Crl.O.P.No.9046 of 2025 order dated 26.03.2025. 1/4

The petitioner was granted bail by this Court in Crl.O.P.No.9046 of 2025 on 26.03.2025 with one of the condition that the petitioner shall report before the respondent police, everyday at 10.30 am., until further orders. It is the contention of the petitioner that yet another case was registered against him in Crime No.358 of 2024 by the Prohibition Enforcement Wing(PEW), RK Pet police station. Thereafter, the petitioner filed a bail application and he was granted bail in Crl.M.P.No.2293 of 2025 on 09.05.2025 by the Principal Special Court under EC& NDPS Act with one of the condition that the petitioner shall appear before the respondent police therein daily at 10.30 am., for a period of 15 days from the date of release. Hence, he was unable to comply with the condition imposed in Crl.O.P.No.9046 of 2025 dated 26.03.2025.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) for the respondent police submitted that petitioner has not been complying with the condition imposed in Crl.O.P.No.9046 of 2025 order dated 26.03.2025. He submits that investigation in this case has been completed and charge sheet has been filed on 20.05.2025 and the case has been committed by the Judicial Magistrate-I, Arakkonam to the District Sessions Court, Ranipet, where it was listed for hearing on 07.07.2025.

Considering the submissions made by the learned counsels on either side, this Court is of the view that compliance with the condition imposed in Crl.O.P.No.9046 of 2025 dated 26.03.2025 is no more required. Accordingly, the condition imposed on the petitioner in Crl.O.P.No.9046 of 2025 dated 26.03.2025 that the petitioner shall report before the respondent police daily at 10.30 a.m until further orders is relaxed.
