O R D E R
The petitioners have been released on anticipatory bail in Crl.M.P.No.3396 of 2018 on 23.05.2018 by the Sessions Court, Villupuram on certain conditions, one of which is that, each petitioner should deposit a sum of Rs.10,000/- as cash security before the Judicial Magistrate-I, Kallakurichi. Challenging which, this petition has been filed.
2.Heard Mr.V.Gunasekar, learned counsel for the petitioners who submitted that the petitioners have already paid Rs.5,200/- to the Revenue authorities in the adjudication proceedings and therefore, sum of Rs.10,000/- is onerous.
3.In the considered opinion of this Court, the petitioners were involved in illegal sand mining. That apart, the petitioners were granted anticipatory bail and not regular bail, after arrest. In such view of the matter, this Court does not find any infirmity in the condition imposed by the Sessions Court, Villupuram warranting interference. Hence, this petition is dismissed. But, however, the time period is extended from https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
04.06.2018 to 02.07.2018. Rest of the conditions shall remain the same.
