ORDER

The petitioners have come to this Court seeking a direction to the respondent to make measurement and to fix the boundaries in respect of the S.No.34/4, measuring to an extent of 0.16 cents of their land in Sathanoor Village, Kallkurichi Taluk, Villupuram District and issue separate patta pursuant to their representation dated 25.05.2018.

2.The petitioners claim to be the owner of the above said land measuring to an extent of 0.16 cents in Natham S.No.34/4 which is having total extent of 0.78 cents. Their grand mother has purchased 0.16 cents on 21.02.1962 as joint patta in Patta No.254 in Document No.481/1962 situated at Sathanur Village, Ohaiyur Post, Kallakurichi Taluk, Villupuram District. Till now their family members have been enjoying the above said land. In this background, the grievance of the petitioners is that since it is a joint patta, they could not identify the correct https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

boundaries of their land and therefore, they made a representation before the respondent on 25.05.2018 and also paid necessary charges. Finding no response, they are before this Court seeking the above said prayer.

3.Learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent would submit that although joint patta dated 02.06.2014 issued mentioning sub division of the land, there would not be any difficulty to consider the petitioners' representation dated 25.05.2018.

4.Therefore, this Court hereby directs the Tahsildar, respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioners on the basis of joint patta dated 02.06.2014 issued by the Head quarters, Deputy Tahsildar, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected W.M.P. is closed.
