O R D E R

The petitioners, who were arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 27.03.2025 for the offences punishable under Sections 8(c) r/w 20(b)(ii)(C), 25, 29(1) of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 in Crime No.214 of 2025 on the file of the respondent police, seek bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioners are found in possession of 22 kgs of ganja which is the commercial quantity. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that the petitioners are before this Court seeking bail on the ground that they are in prison for more than 160 days and final report is not yet filed. 2/4

4.This Court, on considering the quantum of contraband seized from the accused persons and their antecedents, finds that the petitioners are not satisfying the condition imposed under Section 37 of the NDPS Act. For the said reasons, this Criminal Original Petition for bail stands dismissed for the present.
