This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent police not to harass the petitioner and his family members under the guise of enquiry.

2. The petitioner already moved this Court by filing an anticipatory bail petition in Crl.O.P.No.7681 of 2019 and this Court passed the following order on 28.03.2019:-

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions submitted that this petitioner is not added as an accused in Crime No.561 of 2018.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the respondent police are trying to arrest the petitioner in this FIR.

4. Taking into consideration, the facts and circumstances of the case and the specific stand taken by the respondent police and the submissions made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the present petition is closed by recording the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that in spite of the above order, the respondent police is continuously harassing the petitioner in the name of enquiry.

4. Heard the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the respondent police.

5. In view of the specific stand that has been taken by the prosecution, it is made clear that the petitioner shall not be harassed by the respondent police in the name of enquiry, more particularly since there is no case pending against the petitioner.

6. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
