Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to consider the claim of the petitioner for inclusion in the ensuing panel for promotion as Assistant Director of Drug Control, based on the rank assigned by TNPSC at the time of Selection, in pursuance of rule of reservation (200 points roaster) and as per Rule 35(A) of the State & Subordinate Service Rules in the light of the representation made by the petitioner dated 01.09.2021.

2. Since the issue is squarely covered against the petitioner by the Hon'ble Division Bench of this Court in W.P.No.998 of 2017 etc batch dated 15.11.2019, this writ petition is dismissed with liberty to the petitioner to approach the respondents at a later point of time in case the order of the Hon'ble Division Bench of this Court is interfered in the appellate proceedings before the Hon'ble Supreme Court. No costs.
