Respondent PRAYER:

Writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records on the file of the respondent in CHN:LPG:VYASARPADI dated 22.11.2013 and quash the same and further direct the respondent to permit the petitioner to participate in the interview for LPG distributorship before the Selection Committee. For Petitioner : Mr.A.Kanagaraj for M/s.Royan Law Associates.

For Respondent : Mr.O.R.Santhana Krishnan

ORDER

The relief sought for in this writ petition is to call for the records on the file of the respondent in connection with the order of rejection of the application submitted by the writ petitioner.

2. The learned counsel, appearing on behalf of the respondent-Corporation, made a submission that the application submitted by the writ petitioner was rejected on 22.11.2013 itself. For grant of LPG Distributorship, the process of https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

selection was completed on 20.12.2013 and therefore the cause of action aroused for filing the present writ petition became vanished and the grounds raised in the writ petition, at this point of time, deserve no further adjudication.

3. Accordingly, the writ petition stands closed. However, there shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are also closed.
