Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent authorities to grant due incentive marks, for the Covid-19 pandemic duty rendered by the petitioners in additional to the marks to be scored by the petitioners in MRB2023 examination and grant preference in filling up the regular vacancies of Asst.Surgeons and medical officers to the petitioners in the departments of respondents 2 to 4.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking to direct the respondent authorities to grant due incentive marks, for the Covid-19 pandemic duty rendered by the petitioners in additional to the marks to be scored by the petitioners in MRB-2023 examination and grant preference in filling up the regular vacancies of Asst.Surgeons and medical officers to the petitioners in the departments of respondents 2 to 4.

2. This Court vide Order dated 13.07.2023, passed an interim stay for issuing appointment order. However, now, the Government has passed a Government Order in G.O.Ms.No.278, Health and Family Welfare (B1) Department dated 17.08.2023. This Court is of the view that the grievance of the petitioners are addressed in the above referred Government Orders. Hence, nothing survives for adjudication in this writ petition.

3. In view of the above, this writ petition stands dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs.
