ORDER

(delivered by SATISH K. AGNIHOTRI, J.) Mr. C.T. Mohan, learned Standing Counsel, accepts notice for the respondent. With consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal, at the admission stage itself. The petitioner seems to be aggrieved by the communication dated 04 January 2016 addressed by the respondent to the Judge, Family Court, Erode, returning the petitioner's application dated 30 December 2015, seeking to rectify her date of birth. According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner's representation has been returned by the respondent to the Judge, Family Court, Erode, without disclosing reasons. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

On a perusal of the impugned communication, it is manifest that no reasons have been assigned by the respondent for returning the petitioner's application to the Judge, Family Court, Erode. Thus, we remit back the matter to the respondent to examine the petitioner's application and take a decision on its own merits, as expeditiously as possible. The writ petition stands disposed of with the above observation. Costs made easy. Connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
