Prayer:- Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. to direct the respondents police to provide necessary police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner based on the representation dated 05.02.2020.

O R D E R
This petition has been filed seeking for police protection to the petitioner on the ground that the petitioner is facing threat to his life and limb.
2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the respondent police submitted that there are atleast five cases that are pending investigation against the petitioner and there are absolutely no grounds made out for seeking police protection for the petitioner.
3.This Court has carefully considered the materials placed on record. This Court does not find any ground to extend police https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
protection to the petitioner and granting police protection to persons like the petitioner will send wrong signals to the society and this Court is not inclined to entertain this petition.
4.Accordingly, this Criminal Original petition is dismissed.
