ORDER

Heard Ms.D.Bharathy, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.V.C.Selvasekaran, learned Standing counsel for the respondent and perused the materials available on record.

2. This writ petition has been filed challenging the order of the respondent, in and by which, the representation of the petitioner dated 30.01.2018, seeking licence to the bunk shop at Chennai New Avadi Road, Near by Corporation Vacant land, opp to Ayanavaram Water Tank for selling Tea, Coffee and allied food, was rejected.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has shifted his bunk shop to some other place and he is ready to give a fresh representation to the respondent seeking licence to run the business.

4. The learned Standing counsel for the respondent by referring the impugned order dated 23.06.2018, stated that on the date of consideration of the petitioner's representation dated 30.01.2018, there was no bunk shop in the said place and that the said area was found to be very congested. He would further state that if a fresh representation is given, the same would be considered in accordance with law.

5. In the light of the above facts, I do not find any merit in this writ petition. Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed. However, there shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
