O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition is filed to direct the respondent police to file final report in Crime No.5 of 2018 on the file of the respondent police.

2.The contention of the petitioner is that the petitioner had lodged a complaint before the respondent police on 22.02.2018. Thereafter no action has been taken by the respondent police against the accused, since the accused were powerful persons and the respondent police are in complacence with the accused.

3.Thereafter, no other alternative the petitioner had filed a petition under Section 163 Cr.P.C. before the Judicial Magistrate Court, Ambur. The learned Judicial Magistrate, Ambur had given a direction to the Deputy Commissioner of Police, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Vellore to register the case. On the direction of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Ambur, Crime No.5 of 2018 came to be registered for offence under Sections 120 B, 420, 465, 468, 471 and 467 IPC. Thereafter the case has been put on hold. 4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that after registration of FIR, Vellore District has been bifurcated as Vellore and Thirupatthur and the case has been transferred to the file of Deputy Commissioner of Police, Thirupatthur. Hence, he seeks time to complete the investigation. 5.Considering the submissions and on perusal of materials, this Court directs the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Thirupatthur to complete the investigation, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
