Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to forthwith extend the Bar Licence Period of the Members of the petitioner's Trust corresponding to the closure period due to Covid-19 Pandemic, by considering and passing necessary orders on the representation of the petitioner's Trust dated 18.09.2021. ORDER

Mr.K.Sathish Kumar, the learned Standing Counsel takes notice on behalf of the respondents.

2. This writ petition is disposed at the time of admission considering the limited scope of prayer sought for in this writ petition.

3. It is the case of the petitioner's Trust that the president of the Trust was unable to run the TASMAC wine shop for a period of fifteen months due to COVID-19 Pandemic and the lock down hosting thereof.

4. Appearing on behalf of the respondents, the learned Standing Counsel submits that appropriate orders will be passed on the representation dated 18.09.2021 of the petitioner.

5. As a matter of fact, already orders have been passed under similar circumstances on 25.10.2021 in W.P.Nos.22236, 22238, 22242 and 22244 of 2021. This Writ Petition is therefore disposed by directing the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner's Trust and pass appropriate orders within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
