This petition is filed under Section 5 of the Limitation Act, to condone the delay of 114 days in filing the Criminal Revision Case against the Judgment dated 05.12.2022 in F.C.M.C.No.24 of 2022 on the file of the Family Court, Chengalpattu.

2. Mr.H.Arif Ali, learned counsel appearing for the respondents did not raise any serious objection in allowing this petition. However, his contention is that the revision petitioner did not pay arrears of maintenance amount even to his child. According to him, the arrears of maintenance amount is Rs.2,50,000/-.

3. In the circumstance, the present Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is allowed on condition the petitioner shall pay a sum of Rs.1,00,000/- (Rupees One Lakh only) towards arrears of maintenance to the respondents within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of 1/2 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis
