PRAYER: Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the first respondent to take suitable action so as to remove the second respondent from the post of President, Tholar Panchayat, Nallur Panchayat Union, Thittakudi Taluk, Cuddalore District by considering the petitioner's representation dated 23.05.2016 and take suitable legal action as against the accused. ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the 1st respondent to take suitable action, so as to remove the 2nd respondent from the post of President, Tholar Panchayat, Nallur Panchayat Union, Thittakudi Taluk, Cuddalore District, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 23.05.2016.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the 1st respondent submitted that the prayer sought for in the writ petition has become infructuous.
