Respondents Prayer:-Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C., to direct the respondents to grant police protection to the petitioner in order to carry on her lawful discharge of duties in the office of the petitioner at Public Works Department Building (Construction & Maintenance) Section, Omalur, Salem concerned in her petition dated 08.01.2015 on the file of the respondents and to take appropriate action in this regard in accordance with law.

ORDER

The petitioner has come forward with this petition to direct the respondents to grant police protection to the petitioner in order to carry on her lawful discharge of duties in the office of the petitioner at Public Works Department Building (Construction & Maintenance) Section, Omalur, Salem concerned in her petition dated 08.01.2015 on

the file of the respondents and to take appropriate action in this regard in accordance with law.

2.Heard the submissions made by the learned counsel appearing on either side.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that even though summons were issued but the respondents were not enquiring the matter in a proper direction and has not passing appropriate orders. Hence, the petitioner has come forward with this petition for the above stated relief. 4.At this juncture, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, would submit that on the basis of the complaint given by the petitioner, enquiry is going on.

4.Considering the rival submissions made on both sides, the second respondent is directed to enquire the matter as expeditiously as possible and dispose of the petition given by the petitioner on 08.01.2015 and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law.

5. The Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above direction.
