The present miscellaneous petition has been filed seeking to condone the delay of 308 days in filing appeal against the judgment and sentence passed by the learned Special Judge for Exclusive Trial of Cases under POCSO Act, 2012, Thiruvannamalai, Thiruvannamalai District in Spl.S.C.No.114 of 2019 dated 07.07.2023.

Mrs.G.V.Kasthuri, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, who took notice on behalf of the respondent police has submitted that she has no objection for this petition being allowed.

3. Having satisfied with the reasons stated in the accompanying affidavit filed in support of this petition, this petition stands allowed.

4. Registry is directed to number the Criminal Appeal, if the papers are otherwise in order and list the same for admission.
