O R D E R

Heard Mr.S.Ilamvaludhi, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mrs.R.Janaki, the learned Additional Government Pleader, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondent. With consent of the learned counsel on either side, the Writ Petition is taken up for disposal.

2. The grievance of the petitioner, in this case is that, he is put under suspension on 20.05.2017. Since the suspension order passed against his co-delinquent has been revoked, he made a representation to the respondent to review/revoke his suspension order and reinstate him in service. Since the said representation lying since 16.04.2018, he has come to this Court seeking a writ of mandamus directing the respondent to consider such representation within a stipulated period.

3. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent has also no objection for disposal of such representation in accordance with law.

Considering the aforesaid facts and the submissions made, especially, the nature of relief sought for by the petitioner, this Court without expressing any opinion with https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

regard to the merit of the representation of the petitioner, in any manner, disposes of this Writ Petition with a direction to the respondent to take an informed and considered decision on such representation of the petitioner, dated 16.04.2018 made to review the order of suspension in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and if there is no other legal impediment for such disposal. No costs.
