This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd Respondent to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 03.01.2017.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for the issue of a Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to dispose of the representation made by the petitioner on 03.01.2017, wherein the petitioner has requested the second respondent to delete the name of the 5th respondent in the UDR Patta and incorporate the name of the petitioner with respect to the subject property.

Heard Mr.M.Selvam, learned counsel for petitioner and Mr.A.Aruldoss, learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of respondents 1 to 4.

Mr.A.Aruldoss, learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondents 1 to 4 submitted that the second respondent has already fixed a date for enquiry on 24.12.2020 at 3.00 p.m. The learned counsel further submitted that the petitioner can be present at the time of enquiry along with all the relevant documents.

Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and also of the fact that the second respondent has already called the parties for enquiry, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to conduct enquiry, after giving opportunity to the petitioner and the fifth respondent and shall pass final orders strictly in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

This Writ Petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
