JUDGMENT
This Criminal Appeal has been preferred as against the order passed by the learned Principal District and Sessions Court at Kancheepuram in Crl.M.P.No.700 of 2025 on 15.04.2025, thereby dismissing the application for bail.
2. The petitioner was arrested and remanded to judicial custody for the offence punishable under Section 194(1) of BNSS, 2023 @ 103(1) of BNS r/w. SC & ST Act. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner fell in love with the de facto complainant's daughter on the pretext to marry her and had physical relationship with her and thereafter when she insisted the appellant to marry her, the appellant refused and murdered her.

3. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court finds that the appellant has committed a very serious and heinous offence as against the victim. Hence, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
