Respondents PRAYER : Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the concerned records relating to Notification No.48/2012 dated 16.11.2012 issued to the fourth respondent and quash the same and direct the fifth respondent to issue fresh Notification for filling up making recruitment to the post of Assistant Medical Officers in various branches of Indian Medicine in Tamil Nadu Medical Service and consider the case of the petitioners for appointment to the post of Assistant Medical Officer in the Tamil Nadu Medical Service. This Writ Petition has been filed to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the concerned records relating to Notification No.48/2012 dated 16.11.2012 issued to the fourth respondent and quash the same and direct the fifth respondent to issue fresh Notification for filling up making recruitment to the post of Assistant Medical Officers in various branches of Indian Medicine in Tamil Nadu Medical Service and consider the case of the petitioners for appointment to the post of Assistant Medical Officer in the Tamil Nadu Medical Service. 2.Today when the matter is taken up for consideration, the learned Standing Counsel appearing for TNPSC has produced a copy of the Government Order in G.O.[Ms].No.1 Health and Family Welfare [C2] Department dated 02.01.2012 wherein it is stated that all direct requirements under the control of the Directorates of Health and Family Welfare Department made through Employment Exchange henceforth will be under the purview of the fifth respondent / Medical Service Recruitment Board and they will recruit the doctors, if necessary.
3.In view of the same, this Writ Petition is closed. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed. No costs.
