Respondents Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the Tahsildar, Sriperumbudur, the fourth respondent herein to consider petitioner's representation dated 22.10.2024 and to survey the property of S.No.88/1A, at Selvazhimangalam village, Sriperumbudur Taluk, Kancheepuram District and to issue patta in petitioner's favour to the extent of Hectare 0.06.5 ares ((acre 0.15 1/2 cents) instead of Hectare 0.05.0 ares (12 1⁄2 cents) at Selvazhimangalam village, Sriperumbudur Taluk, Kancheepuram District in patta No.332 out of the total extent of Hectare 0.09.50 ares (Acre 0.23 cents).

For Petitioner : Mr.P.Balamurugan For R2 to R4 : Mr.C.Jayaprakash Government Advocate For R5 : Mrs.S.R.Sumathy O RDER This Writ Petition has been filed for direction directing the Tahsildar, Sriperumbudur, the fourth respondent herein to consider petitioner's representation dated 22.10.2024 and to survey the subject property.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned Government Advocate for the respondents 2 to 4 and the learned counsel for the 5th respondent and perused the materials available on record.

3. The petitioner owned the property comprised in S.No.88/1A, to an extent of 0.15 1⁄2 cents out of the total extent of 0.23 cents situated at Selvazhimangalam village, Sriperumbudur Taluk, Kancheepuram District. In order to survey the subject property, he had submitted a representation and also paid the requisite fees. However, so far, no steps have been taken by the respondents to survey the subject property. Now the fifth respondent is objecting to survey the subject property.

In view of the above, the fourth respondent is directed to survey the petitioner's aforesaid land based on the title deed produced by the petitioner, after issuance of notice to the adjacent land owners and counter parties, if any, and to serve the survey report to the petitioner, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. It is made clear, that if the surveyor finds any difficulty or

hindrance from any third party while surveying the petitioner's property, he can very well approach the concerned jurisdictional police to seek police aid. On receipt of the same, the concerned jurisdictional police shall provide adequate police protection to conduct survey on the petitioner's property.

5. With the above directions, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
