ORDER
Heard the learned counsels appearing on behalf of the parties concerned.
2. This Writ Petition has been filed praying for a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records relating to the order of the third respondent, dated 9.11.2012, and quash the same, and to direct the respondents to grant a licence in the name of the petitioner to run her cracker selling business, at Door No.15, Longu Bazaar, Vellore, Vellore District.
3. The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents had submitted that the Writ Petition has become infructuous, in view of the fact that the request of the petitioner for the selling of crackers, at Door No.15, Longu Bazaar, Vellore, Vellore District, during Diwali, which was to be celebrated during the year, 2012, had been met. He had further submitted that it may be open to the petitioner to submit a fresh application, for the grant of the licence, if so advised, and the authorities concerned would consider the same and pass appropriate orders thereon, if such an application is made and if it is in order.
4. In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents, as no further orders are necessary in the present Writ Petition, the Writ Petition stands closed.
