ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for a direction directing the 1st, 2nd and 5th respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 03.07.2023 and fix a proper guide line value for the plot bearing No.6 comprised in Grama Natham, Old Survey No.255/part and New Sub-divided Survey No.332/3 at Periyar Street, Anna Nagar, Tambaram Sanatorium, Chennai-600 047, within Chitlapakkam Village, Tambaram Taluk, Then Kancheepuram District and Now Chengalpattu District and consequently exhibit the same in the Tamil Nadu Registration Department Website as well as the connected Government records..

2. It is the case of the writ petitioner that the property is originally Grama Natham land, however, on record, it is shown as zero guideline value. Hence, he gave a representation particularly with regard to the fixing the guideline value in order to set right the mistake and the same is pending 2/4

without consideration till date. Hence, this writ petition.

3. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record. By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

4. Considering the limited relief sought for in this writ petition, this Court without going into the merits of the case directs the third respondent to consider the representation and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law fixing the guideline value as per law. Such exercise shall be completed within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.
