O R D E R

The petitioner herein who has acted as a agent for finance company by name APR Groups Finance Limited is before this Court seeking police protection.

2. According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner was only an employee under the management of APR Groups Private Finance Company. While so, the depositors are trying to encroach upon his land in order to recover the money they have deposited.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police on instructions from the Investigating Officer submits that a complaint specifically against this petitioner for cheating been 2/4

received on 01.02.2024 and the same has been closed, since it is a case of financial fraud.

4. Though the petitioner claims that he is innocent, it was for the police to investigate if complaint received make out a case for cheating. Therefore, the protection sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. 23.08.2024 Vv To
