The petitioner is the brother of one Kavipriya alleging that she has eloped with one Sivakumar, complaint been given to the police. The 1/4
police has registered the said complaint in Crime No.77 of 2024 dated 20.03.2024 and investigating the matter. Contending that the police is not properly investigating the case, the present petition is filed for transfer of investigation to some other agency. 2.
The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police states that the second time, the sister of the petitioner eloped with one Sivakumar, who is a married man. Earlier she returned on her own, when she came to know that her brother has given a complaint to the police. This time she has again left with Sivakumar, the police is taking all efforts to trace her. Investigation so far conducted indicates that both the sister of the petitioner and Sivakumar are at Bengaluru, a team has been constituted to secure them. 3.
In view of the above fact, this Court finds that the respondent police is taking all efforts to investigate the matter and there is no necessity to change the Investigating Agency. Hence this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
