Prayer:- Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to renew the lease period for another three years viz 04.12.2020 ti 03.12.2023 for Shop Nos.1 & 2 of Thummanappalli Village, Hosur Taluk, Krishnagiri District by fixing the enhanced rent as per the Government guidelines by considering the petitioner's representation dated 16.11.2020. ORDER

The prayer in the writ petition is for issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to renew the lease period for another three years viz 04.12.2020 to 03.12.2023 for Shop Nos.1 & 2 of Thummanappalli Village, Hosur Taluk, Krishnagiri District by fixing the enhanced rent as per the Government guidelines by considering the petitioner's representation dated 16.11.2020. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

On perusal of the proceedings Na.Ka.No.4169/2020/E2 dated 27.01.2021 submitted by Mr.Kannan, learned Government Advocate, it is seen that for the subsequent period a tender has been floated for the Thummanapalli Village Panchayat and the auction was conducted on 08.01.2020. The fourth respondent has taken the tender for Rs.6,200/- and therefore this petitioner has approached the Panchayat offering a sum of Rs.9,300/- for shop No.1 and Rs.8600/- for Shop No.2.

In view of the proposals made by the petitioner, the Panchayat had also conducted a second auction for the said Shop Nos. 1 & 2 on 27.01.2021 and in that auction the Shop No.1 went for Rs.12,100/- and Shop No.2 went for Rs.12,200. In view of the further development, this writ petition is dismissed. No costs. Consequently connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
