The petitioner married the respondent on 01.06.2022. Subsequently, they have separated due to physical and emotional disturbances in their matrimonial life.

2. The respondent has initiated F.C.O.P. No. 197 of 2024 on the file of the Family Court at Erode. He has sought for divorce invoking the provision of Section 13(1)(ia) of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955. The wife pleads that she is currently working in Coimbatore and is not in a position to travel to Erode for the date of hearing before the Family Court at Erode. She pleads that the Court in Tiruppur is closer to her.
3. Taking into consideration the convenience of the wife, I am inclined to accept the transfer petition. Accordingly, F.C.O.P. No. 197 of 2024 on the file of the Family Court at Erode is withdrawn and transferred to the file of the Family Court at Tiruppur.
4. The Family Court at Tiruppur will not insist on the appearance of the husband for every hearing. He shall, however, appear when his appearance is essential or when so directed by the Family Court. On the other hearings, he may be represented through a counsel.
5. In the result, the Transfer Civil Miscellaneous Petition stands 2/4
allowed. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
