This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking writ of mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to implement its order dated 11.04.2023 bearing Mu. M. no 4 464/ E1/ 2021 in respect of petitioner by extending grade pay of Rs.9000/- with effect form 21.09.2017 in the pay scale of Rs.37400 - 67000 in the post of Associate

Mr. V.Sivalingam Government Advocate R1 & R2 Order This writ petition is filed for the following relief: "To direct the 2nd respondent to implement its order dated 11.04.2023 bearing Mu. M. no 4 464/ E1/ 2021 in respect of petitioner by extending grade pay of Rs.9000/- with effect form 21.09.2017 in the pay scale of Rs.37400 - 67000 in the post of Associate Professor, pay arrears of pay and continue to pay the grade pay of Rs 9000/-."
2. The petitioner was appointed on 04.03.2003 in the sanctioned post of the 3rd respondent college. However, the 2nd respondent approved the appointment of the petitioner from 09.08.2007. The petitioner made several representations to grant approval from 04.03.2006. The 1st respondent by an order dated 13.12.2013 regularized the service of the petitioner from 20.09.2003.
3. The petitioner would submit that the 1st respondent had sanctioned salary payable to the petitioner from 20.09.2003 to 08.08.2007 and remitted the same to the 3rd respondent. However, the 3rd respondent paid only part payment and there is a balance salary payable to the tune of Rs.6,86,778/-. Therefore, in this regard the petitioner made a representation dated 13.12.2025 and the same has not been considered. Hence, the petitioner.
4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the fact that the petitioner's representation dated 13.12.2025 has not been considered to date, a direction is issued to respondents to consider the petitioner's representation and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 6 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
