This petition has been filed to transfer the investigation of the case in Crime No.381 of 2019 pending on the file of the second respondent to the third respondent - CB-CID or any other

independent Agency to conduct a free and fair investigation as per law within a time frame fixed by this Hon'ble Court.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) would submit that the investigation in Crime No.381 of 2019 has been completed and final report has been filed in S.T.C.No.12 of 2021, on the file of the Judicial Magistrate-II, Nagapattinam. Therefore, no investigation is pending on the file of the second respondent.

3. Recording the said submission, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous petition is closed.
