ORDER
The above Criminal Original Petition has been filed, seeking for a direction to the respondent, the Superintendent of Police, Anti Corruption, CBI Head Office, Chennai, to investigate the complaint of the petitioner, dated 28.06.2019 and register a FIR and file a Final Report.
Heard both sides.
The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is a Women Entrepreneur and she is running a stone crushing unit in Coimbatore, and she has given a complaint against one Sivasubramaniam/Authorised Officer, Manager at Indian Bank, who is dealing the recovery action of the petitioner's property and the competent person to issue No Objection Certificate, in respect of demand of Rs.10,00,000/- (Rupees Ten Lakhs only) as bribe for issuing No Objection Certificate to deal with the petitioner's property. Since, no action has been taken against the said Sivasubramaniam, the petitioner has come before this Court, seeking for a direction as stated above.
When the matter is taken up today, the learned Special Public Prosecutor, (CBI Cases), appearing for the respondent would submit that the petitioner's complaint dated 28.06.2019, was received and the said complaint has been forwarded to the Chief Vigilance Officer, Indian Bank, Head Office, Vigilance Department, Chennai-14, on 10.07.2019, for further necessary action and it had also been intimated to the petitioner. He would further submit that the respondent is not taking any action based on the complaint.
Recording the same, this petition is closed, granting liberty to the petitioner to proceed in accordance with law before the appropriate forum.
