Respondent Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issue of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to pass final orders in the disciplinary proceeding initiated against the petitioner in TDP Case No.23 of 2008 (TDP - Tribunal for Disciplinary Proceeding) within a time to be fixed by this Court.

ORDER

On the earlier hearing i.e. 21.02.2018, Dr.C.Chandramouli, Additional Chief Secretary to Government, Commercial Taxes and Registration Department, Chennai appeared before me and apprised of further development that an order has been passed permitting the petitioner to retire from service with a proposal to pass an order of cut in pension at the rate of Rs.1,000/- per month for a period of six months. Thereafter, the petitioner has to reply based on which, final order has to be passed. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2.Since proceedings dated 09.02.2018 permitting the petitioner to retire from service with a proposal to pass an order of cut in pension of Rs.1,000/- per month for a period six months have been passed, nothing further survives to be adjudicated in this petition and therefore the same is closed. No costs.
