ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by S.NAGAMUTHU, J.) The petitioner is the mother of one Devi aged about 24 years. On the allegation, that she has been found missing from 04.11.2015 onwards, the petitioner has come up with this Habeas Corpus Petition.
2. When this Habeas Corpus Petition was taken up today for hearing, neither the petitioner nor her counsel made appearance. But the second respondent produced Devi before this Court, she submitted to this Court that her actual name is R.Sridevi D/o. Rajashekaran and she is called as Devi. Her date of birth is 12.12.1992. When we enquired her, she told us that on her own volition, out of love, she married one G.D.Aravind, s/o Thiru.G.Donbosco on 26.10.2015 and from the day of marriage, she has been living happily with her husband. Her husband Mr.Aravind also made appearance before this Court. She further submitted that she has not been detained illegally by anybody, but she is living with her husband. She further submitted that she is willing to go back to her marital home and to live with her husband.
3. The statement is recorded.
4. In view of the above fact, we find that there is no illegal detention and no direction as prayed for could be given. The petition is therefore, dismissed giving liberty to the detenue to chose her own way of life. kua (S.N.J.,) (V.B.D.J.,) 25.07.2016 To 1.The Inspector of Police, T-13, Kundrathur Police Station, Kundrathur, Chennai-600 069.
